Karen Huber Founder/Owner Walking You Home

Karen has worked with seniors since 1993, beginning as Director of a Senior Group and Travel Club where she spent 13 years organizing and traveling with seniors across the country. In 2007, she and her husband, David, purchased the Cedar Rapids Home Instead franchise, which they owned and operated for 18 years.

In January 2026, Karen founded Walking You Home, inspired by her personal experience supporting her father at the end of his life and helping her mother afterward. Karen is passionate about providing compassionate end-of-life support for both patients and their families and looks forward to walking beside you during this important time.
